One of the largest countries in the South Pacific, PNG lies south of the equuator about 160KM to the North of Australia. The country is comprised of the eastern part of the main island of  PNG, and some 600 off-shore islands, including the larger islands of New Britain, New Ireland and Bouganville. Diving: Where else can you dive a B25 bomber, a scuttled turn-of-the century tug boat, and finish off with a reef drift dive past untouched coral reefs. Few other tropical dive locations have the abundance of pelagic and reef fish, coral reefs and drop-offs and virgin wrecks as PNG. There are a number of live-aboard vessels which dive throughout various reefs and islands throughout the Solomon Sea and Trobriands: and across the Bismark sea in the northern part of New Guinea. MV Febrina, MV Chertan,Star Dancer and Paradise Sport are among the best of these vessels.
